China Southern Power Grid Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as CSG) has delivered 5 annual CSR reports since May 2008. Adhering to the core value of “A Myriad of Twinkling Lights, Great Rapport of CSG”, The CSR Reports introduce the four dimensions of CSG: Power Supply Responsibility, Economic Performance Responsibility, Social Harmony Responsibility and Environment Protection Responsibility.

CSG’s 2011 CSR Report was sent to the rating group at the Corporate Social Responsibility Centre of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences for assessment. The rating panel made serious assessment on the report in five aspects, namely, integrity, substance, balance, readability and creativity. Considering it an outstanding corporate social responsibility report, members of the rating panel unanimously agreed to give the report a five-star rating (★★★★★), the highest rating for corporate social responsibility report in China.

CSG’s 2009，2010，2011 CSR Report was the highest rating report in each year in China. CSG’s 2010, 2011 CSR Report got five-star rating (★★★★★). CSG’s 2009 CSR Report got four-and-a-half-star rating (★★★★☆).

In Nov, 2012, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences published Blue paper- Corporate Social Responsibility 2012, CSG ranked No.3rd in corporate social responsibility development index in Top 100 Chinese enterprises, as one of the leading CSR Company in China.

On 19 March 2010, the Company joined the UN Global Compact. It supports and promotes the ten basic principles of the UN Global Compact.
