Launch event: What Assures Consumers in an Economic Downturn?

AccountAbility and The Co-operative, with support from LRQA, will be releasing the findings of this timely report, the fifth in AccountAbility’s What Assures? series.

The report presents results from a survey of 2,000 UK consumers and expert interviews on topics ranging from consumer trust in UK brands, to the changing nature of labeling and assurance, to the growing “accountability” gap as institutions lose consumer confidence.

At this event you will:
- Be the first to hear about cutting edge research into consumer opinion and spending in the UK;
- Engage with experts on how communications and marketing strategies can be a force for good in a recession;
- Question and debate if the recession will herald the dawn of a new age of business responsibility and sustainable development.

The event will be chaired by LRQA (Sandy Sutherland). Panellists include Alan Knight and Kate Ives (AccountAbility), Barry Clavin (The Co-operative) and Harriet Lamb (Fairtrade Foundation).

Where? Lloyd’s Register Group Headquarters, 71 Fenchurch Street, London, EC3M 4BS
